GO Volunteer Local
GO Volunteer Local for middle school students is a critical component in jumpstarting the habit of serving for the greater good of others. Giving our middle school students opportunities to gain a sense of self-reliance and pride through volunteerism at an early age can boost confidence and generate "feel-good" emotions that reduce stress and increase a sense of wholeness. We are helping middle school students by giving them real-world experience learning about the importance of teamwork, responsibility, accountability, and leadership through volunteering. Giving middle school students an opportunity to volunteer can also help them find their own identity and voice, early on.
GO Volunteer Local
High school students who engage in community volunteering experience a variety of personal and academic advantages. Participating in volunteer work nurtures empathy and a sense of civic duty, enabling students to build a stronger connection with and dedication to their community. It also develops essential life skills like teamwork, communication, and problem-solving, which are beneficial in both personal and career settings. Moreover, community service enhances college applications and resumes by highlighting a student's initiative and commitment beyond academics. Research indicates that volunteering also benefits mental health by providing a sense of purpose and reducing stress levels.
GO Volunteer Local
Our organization is always busy preparing for the next impactful community gathering that helps us stay in a position to support local youth and families with affordable afterschool programs and essential youth services. We are always seeking adults who are positive, cheerful, and vibrant with welcoming Spirits to join our GO Volunteer Local Adult team. The best way to get started is to sign up today. Any time we have volunteer opportunities or projects, we'll send you an email and a text message with details to confirm your availability.
